Cartographer Greg Fiske selected to create mural at Mountainfilm

Greg Fiske was selected to display his maps as art for the mural wall on a coffee shop in downtown Telluride, Colorado. “Cartographies of Arctic Change” was installed in May 2025, and will remain in place until spring 2026. It shows the rapidly changing Arctic landscape as seen by Fiske during the process of turning satellite imagery into data used by the Center’s climate scientists.
